Olivia

Collaborated on photos for a show at the Family Photo Studio curated by Allison Barr.

Flyer info:

You are cordially invited this Saturday, January 14th from 5-7pm for the very special photo group show “Unlearning”. Curated by @alliisonder, “Unlearning” is a group show focused on destigmatizing what we were told wasn’t normal growing up. Think: body image, sex, queerness, straying away from religion, self expression, defying gender norms and more.
This will be an incredible show, with many amazing photographers that you won’t want to miss! Allison will also be available for portraits all day on Saturday the 14th and the following Saturday the 21st! Book a portrait (link in bio) and stay for the show!

And a statement from Olivia: Hi, I am Olivia, Nathan's flatmate and occasional muse. My body has existed in many forms through the years, from twinky boy to waifish woman to buff rock climber girl! Climbing is an intense passion of mine that is deeply involved in much of my life. I train hard and love getting strong! However, developing muscles and bulk posed an emotional challenge to me, as I became stronger (and I am SUPER strong now) I found my gender dysphoria intensifying. I love to take back that power and know in my heart and mind that my strength does not diminish my femme identity. I want to share this power and help others achieve peace with their own body.

New Holga Game

1 roll of color and 1 roll of black and white, developed by Randall in Ohio. What a great dude.

If I bought a ‘better’ film camera would I even use it?

Months after, Missoula Photos

Checked two states off my visit list, with only four to go in the continental US. Missoula was a joy, driving was a joy. Heading east, the campsite in Spokane I’ll always remember for being terrible but possessing an amazing river view. An Airbnb mishap in Missoula seems funny now and made things interesting. Hot springs and a rural garage sale in Idaho were my highlights. Sammy would have her own top two list. The dirt road that went up the biggest mountain where we saw the horse and snake (separately) took us to that lovely lake and a perfect place to put the tent and make eggs in the morning. We’ll both lament the glow sticks that those kids threw in the water, while I’ll lament not trying to get some pictures of it’s colored mermaid light underneath the glare.

These are a mix of real camera and Iphone photos. I don’t care anymore. Who is who, what is what?
